I was diagnosed with ADHD at 38 — and it changed everything.
For most of my life, I knew I experienced the world differently. The overwhelm, the distraction, the hyper-focus, the self-doubt — it was all there, just without a name. And when I finally got my diagnosis, it was a moment of clarity... but not one of comfort.
Like so many others, my own ADHD assessment experience felt cold, clinical, and rushed. I left feeling more confused than seen. There was no aftercare, no explanation, and no real plan. Just a label — and a list of options I didn’t understand.
That’s when something shifted.
As an ADHD coach and therapist, I knew our community deserved better. I didn’t just want to support people with ADHD — I wanted to completely rethink how we’re diagnosed and cared for. I wanted a client journey that felt human. Thoughtful. Empowering. One where every step — from first contact to ongoing support — is met with care, clarity, and compassion.
That’s why I created Unmasking Minds.
This clinic is more than a service — it’s a movement. A space where ADHD assessments are done differently. Where you’re not just a number on a waiting list, but a whole person with a story that matters.
And every day, I wake up proud to build the kind of experience I wish I had — and to help others unmask their minds, their potential, and their future.
